Mercury Mariner Hybrid claims the Best Overall Value Award in 2009

The IntelliChoice Best Overall Value Award for 2009 in the small crossover SUV segment was given to the Mercury Mariner Hybrid. The Overall Value award identifies the vehicle with the lowest comprehensive costs to own and operate during the first five years of ownership. The Best Overall Value of the Year awards recognizes the best car values by categories and was chosen from over 1,700 domestic and imported vehicles from the 2009 model year.

The 2010 Mercury Mariner Hybrid is a 4-door compact crossover SUV, which is extremely fuel-efficient with EPA-estimated 34 city and 31 highway mpg. The environment-friendly Mercury Mariner Hybrid entered with the option of several trims - base model, V6, Premier, Premier V6, and Hybrid (all in both 2WD and 4WD configurations). Standard features on the Mariner include keyless remote entry, privacy glass, message center and MP3 with satellite capabilities. The Premier trim offers as standard features rear parking sensors and the Leather Trim Package comprises luxurious leather seats and power driver's seat adjuster.
