Central Florida Lincoln Mercury Supports the Cure for Juvenile Diabetes!

Friday, March 5, 2010

Throughout the month of March, with every new vehicle sale that is made at Central Florida Lincoln Mercury we will Donate $50 to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation!
This initiative is part of Ford Motor Company's global efforts to help find a cure for Juvenile Diabetes through their work with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Additionally, on Saturday, March 6, UCF will host the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Walk for a Cure. Ford Motor Company will be in attendance and will be providing informational booths and vehicle displays for the participating walkers.

"The Orlando Ford Lincoln Mercury dealerships are happy to participate in such a great cause, especially on a local level here in Orlando," said Chris Brown, Orlando Zone Manager. "We are looking forward to a great turn-out from the community this weekend to help support the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Walk for a Cure."

The ultimate goal of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation is to find a cure for diabetes through research efforts. Type 1 Juvenile diabetes is an autoimmune disease that strikes children and adults suddenly. The disease lasts a lifetime. Ford is a proud sponsor of The JDRF International, as the organization is the worldwide leader in funding research to cure type 1 diabetes. For more information, visit www.jdrf.org.
